Test plans

You can create a test plan for a formula, item, or project. There is a one-to-one relationship between an item or formula and its test plan.

The test plan can contain any number of test methods. The test methods must be created before you create the test plan. For example, you can have one test plan for an item that has two test methods:

  • One test method that measures the shelf life for an item.
  • A second test method that measures the bacteria count for the same item.

You can also record conditions, such as the temperature at the time the second test is run.
