Creating new item defaults

Items do not have version numbers and are not associated with labs. A single @DFLT defines the item default.

  1. Open the Item > Create New dialog.
  2. Specify @DFLT in the Item Code field.
  3. Specify other values in the form as appropriate to the default.
  4. Specify security for the default in the Security tab of the object page.
