Encrypted passwords for attachments and Web Reports

Instead of storing plain text passwords in the Web.Config for Web Reports, you can store encrypted passwords in the Windows Registry on the web.

By default, Web Reports uses the Windows system account called ASPNET for its credentials. This account is a local account only, meaning that it does not belong on the Windows domain but only to the web server. This account does not have permission to create files on the file server as that machine has no knowledge of this account.

Information about configuring impersonation of a standard Windows user is contained in the Infor CloudSuite PLM for Process Installation Guide.
