Configuring the section titles

You can have more than one section title in an ingredient statement. For example, you can configure a sweeteners section with the title "SWEETENERS".

To configure the SWEETENERS section title, perform these one-time setup tasks:

  1. Add the SWEETENERS set code to the Classification tab in the ITEM Symbol.
  2. Open the Item form and create an Item Group (Component Type = 9) with the same name as the set code. Then, assign the set code to it.
    • Item groups are used solely to link items to sections on an ingredient statement.
    • Unlike other items, they are not added to formulas.
    • To preclude an item group from being deleted inadvertently, assign a high level of security to it.
  3. Assign the set code to both the item group and the items that you want to show in the SWEETENERS section of the ingredient statement. This assignment takes place in the Classification tab of the Item form.
  4. Add the SWEETENERS section title to the C_LRSDESCRIPTION enumerated list. Custom Value should be an integer.
  5. Add the newly created section to the Ingredient Statement Rule. The results are shown in the Preview of the ingredient statement.
