Example of a reconstitution rule

This example shows you how to create a reconstitution rule for Evaporated Milk.

  1. Create these items in the Item form: Milk, Water, and Evaporated Milk.
  2. Complete these entries in the Reconstitution Rule form.
    Agent Item
    Specify the item that is consumed during reconstitution.
    Agent Pct
    Specify the amount of the agent that accounts for the Qty % of the final item.
    Final Item
    Specify the reconstituted item. Add items in the order they should be reconstituted.
    Item Code
    Specify the original item before reconstitution.
    Priority
    Specify the priority to use the final agent. Items with higher numbers get precedence. Leave room between priority values so that others can be inserted later.
    Recon %
    Specify the percentage of the original item that is consumed by the agent.
