Assigning parameter values
You can assign parameter values to the formula.
- Open the Formula form.
 - Click the Parameters tab.
 -
Specify this criteria. The check box, in the left column of the
grid, is required only for the
			 Reset Calculation Level
			 function.

- <Attribute>
 - The names of these columns can be customized by the system administrator.
 - Filter
 - Select a filter to limit the parameters that are displayed. For example, you can select Rollup to show only the parameters that are assigned to the Rollup category.
 - Level
 -

Indicates how parameters values are being calculated.
- Pending (0) - Values are waiting to be calculated by Optiva or manually overridden.
 - Manual Override (1) - Values were overridden manually and were not calculated by Optiva.
 - Calculated (2) - Values are calculated by Optiva.

 - Parameter
 - Shows the parameters that are assigned to the selected filter. The system administrator determines which parameters are assigned to each filter category.
 - Precision
 - Enter the precision to which the parameter value is entered. This column does not affect the appearance of the parameter.
 - Rollup Ind
 - Indicates whether the rollup completed successfully for the corresponding parameter.
 - Test Method
 - Informational. If you have implemented the Optiva Testing module, you can select a test method to validate this parameter.
 - UOM
 - Shows the unit of measure (UOM).
 - Value
 -

Specify a value for the corresponding parameter. Rollup, Cost, and Equation Total parameter values are calculated by the system.
Information parameter values are not rolled up; enter them at each formula level. Because Equation Total parameters may use Information parameter values in their calculations, specify Information parameter values first.
