  2. Select the Role > Symbol > Class.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Click the Function Codes tab.

Hierarchy for security

  1. ACL security and Object security take precedence over the form controls in Configure Templates.
  2. In Configure Templates, there is a Read Only check box for the Attachments, Notes, and Embedded Images tabs. This check box takes precedence over the form control in the Configure Templates > Function Codes tab.
  3. The form control in the Configure Templates > Function Codes tab can only further restrict the access to the Attachments, Notes, and Embedded Images tabs.

What if a user does not have access to an object (from other forms of security)? These form controls do not grant any access to the corresponding object > tab.
