Specifying an autodescrip column
In this example, the
VENDORDESC column has a column label of Vendor Desc.
This column is defined with a data type of
		auto descrip.

When you specify
		auto descrip for the
Data Type, the value in the
		Auto Desc. Source column
should be the database name of the source field. In this example, the database
name for the source field is
		VENDORCODE.

As shown in the example,
VENDORCODE is another column in the
		Columns tab. This column is
defined as a lookup for the
		VENDOR symbol. You must specify
		key for the
Call Ind column and a value
		for the
		Key Check column.

For Vendor lookups and Customer lookups, the Key Check value must be Company.
When users select a vendor code in the extension table, the description for that vendor is displayed in the Vendor Desc. column.
