Rearranging the sequence of tabs

The Optiva administrator has the ability to rearrange the tabs in the web client pages. In Configure Templates, complete these steps:

  1. Select the Role, such as RL_ADMIN.
  2. Select the symbol, such as Formula.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Drag and drop the tabs to the desired location.
    • You can move child tabs so that they are displayed at the top level. For example, move the Byproducts tab to the right of the Main tab.
    • You can move top level tabs so that they become child tabs. For example, move the Reports tab so that it is displayed under the Main tab.
    • You can move tabs to the right or to the left within the same level.
    • The Main tab cannot be moved. It must remain as the first tab at the top level.
    • Child tabs can be displayed from any parent tab with these exceptions:
      • Analysis > Analysis tab
      • Workflow in Progress > Results tab
      • Formula > Item Lines tab (when the Quick Calc grid is displayed)
    • When the Formula > Item Lines tab is a child tab, the Quick Calc button is not available.
    • If you want to use the Quick Calc button, we recommend that you configure the Formula > Item Lines tab to be displayed as a parent tab.
  5. Click Save.
