Creating the label claim rule

  1. Open the Label Claim Rule form.
  2. Specify the criteria for the label claim rule. This example shows the criteria for the GOOD_CA rule.
    Claim Text

    Specify the claim text that you want to display in the product label.

    Param Code

    Select a parameter code from the list.

    Claim Def

    Select the claim definition that is to be applied to the corresponding parameter.

    Logic Operator

    Select a Logic Operator: AND, OR, NOT.

    The logic operators function the same way as they do for the Label Claim Definitions. For the claim text to display on the Label Content object:

    • AND - All of the entries in the Label Claim Rule form must pass.
    • OR - At least one of the entries in the Label Claim Rule form must pass. (Recommendation: Do not use with AND/NOT.)
    • NOT - All of the entries in the Label Claim Rule form must fail.
