Select IDO dialog box

Use this dialog box to specify an IDO. To test the connection, select the IDO you want and click “Connect”. Messages indicate whether the connection was successful.

Depending on what type of object you are creating or editing, the IDO performs one of several functions:

• Returns a collection to a form.
• Contains a stored procedure method referenced by an “IDO Method list source”.
• Contains the method referenced by a “Method Call validator”.
• Contains the method referenced by an event handler with a “Method Call response type”.
• Returns a collection that populates one or more levels of a “tree component”.
