Source Tab and Sub-tabs on Project Resources

Use this tab to specify the sourcing for project resources, and to view status information about the source for the resource (an inventory, purchase order, job, PO requisition, or service order transaction) and when the transaction is expected to be completed.

This tab contains Source fields, as well as read-only status information on sub-tabs.

 A sub-tab is enabled when its matching type is selected in the Source field.

  • Inventory: If the source is set to Inventory, this tab displays status information about the inventory sources for the project resource material. It lists the sites, warehouses, and locations that have the item, as well as the type (Stock or Transit), the quantity on hand, quantity that is reserved, reserved for customer orders, and the non-nettable amount at each location.
  • Purchase Orders: If the source is set to Purchase Order, this tab displays status information about the specified PO that provides the resource material, including the status of the PO, the amount that has been received, rejected, and vouchered, and the Last Received date.
  • Job: If the source is set to Job, this tab displays status information about the specified job operations that provide the material, including the work center, status of the operation, the amount received, completed, moved, or scrapped, unit of measure, start and end date, setup hours, and labor and machine costs.
  • Requisition: If the source is set to Requisition, this tab displays status information about the specified PO requisition that provides the material, including the vendor, buyer, PO number (if available), status, due date, promise date, the amount received, rejected, or vouchered, the last received date, and the status.
  • SRO: If the source is set to SRO, this tab displays status information about the specified service order associated with the material, including the order status and billing status, create and close dates, start and end dates, projected completion date, and the incident associated with the service order, if applicable.
