Project Resource Transactions
Use this form to enter and post transactions for resources in an active project and task. The cost and quantity of the resource is issued to the project.
If you enter an item that is not already a resource for the project, you can add it as a resource when you issue it to the project.
A project resource cannot be issued to a project job cross reference from inventory nor can it be issued into inventory if the job is open. Positive and negative transactions are permissible if the job is closed.
An item entering into inventory assumes item-based costing rules independent of it originally being associated with a job.
The Container Contents tab displays the container, the item, lot and serial numbers, and the quantity. These fields are display-only.
