Multi-Site Vendors

At the master site for an intranet, use the Multi-Site Vendors form to add and maintain records for each vendor with whom your company deals. You specify the site at which the vendor record will be added or changed. There is one record for each vendor/site combination, so you can have multiple records for one vendor. You can view and maintain records only for sites in the same intranet as this master site.

A vendor record cannot be deleted from this form.

In order to maintain vendors on other sites through this form, the following must be true:

  • You must be logged into the master site for the intranet containing the sites where you are adding vendors.
  • The A/P, Ledger Consolidation (or G/L), and Inventory/Transfers replication categories are replicating between the sites on this intranet.

Use the Remit To tab to select a different vendor to send correspondence and payments to if your vendor has different ship-from and remit-to locations.

Use the General tab to configure credit and payment settings for this vendor.

Use the Contacts tab to enter and view information about contacts for the vendor. If a vendor is minority owned it is displayed here.

Use the EU VAT tab to configure EU Reporting settings for the vendor. These fields are used by the European Union (EU). If the Activate EU Reporting field on the General Parameters form is not selected, these fields are not enabled.

Use the Payments tab to view payment information and to put a vendor on payment hold.

Use the Portal tab to give vendors the ability to firm planned orders (PLNs) and convert them to CloudSuite Industrial purchase orders or purchase order requisitions using the Vendor Portal Planned Orders page.

The On Time Delivery tab displays on-time delivery percentages for a selected vendor, to help you decide which vendor to use for future purchases. On-time delivery percentages are calculated for a given month range by comparing the total number of purchase order lines due in a given month to the number of those lines received in full by the due date (or partially received lines with a status of filled/complete). The data is displayed in grid and graph format. This information is also available for review by vendors using the Vendor Portal On Time Delivery page.

On the Fiscal Reporting tab, you can set up the vendor for DAS2 reporting, if needed. See Setting Up Vendors for DAS2 Reporting.

The Actions menu includes a Multi-Site Copy option that displays a modal Multi-Site Selection form. Use this option to copy a selected vendor to multiple sites in the same intranet as the master site. For more information, see Maintaining Vendors from a Master Site.
