Event Action Attach

Note:  You can access this form only from the Event Actions form.

Use this form to:

  • Attach or link additional documents (files) to a record as part of an event action chain
  • Update inherited attachments
  • Detach obsolete attachments from a record during an event action chain

There are four action types associated with the Attach event action:

  • ATTACH: Attaches a new document to the record
  • LINK: Links a previously imported document to the record
  • UPDATE: Modifies the contents of an attached document
  • DETACH: Detaches a document from a record
