Creating a rework job order

  1. Open the Job Order - Rework form.
  2. Specify this information:
    Parent Job Order
    Select the original job order related to the item that is being reworked.
    WC to Perform Rework
    The description for Select the work center where the rework operation is performed.
    Note: This vale is defaulted from the Default WC for IP Rework New Operation field on the Shop Floor Control Parameters form.
    Rework Material
    Select the item that is required for the rework process.
    Note: 

    Only the items for which the IP Rework check box is selected are displayed in the drop down list.

    Rework Quantity
    The quantity of the item to be reworked..
    IP Rework Reason Code
    The description for Select the code related to the reason for rework.
    Note: The values in the drop down list is populated from the IP Rework Reason Codes form.
  3. Click theCreate option.
