PO Safety Time (Days)

Specify the number of days required as a buffer for receiving every purchased item. This value is used by APS as the default number of buffer days when planning purchased-item supply, unless a more specific item-level value is defined. This field is used to account for supplier delivery variability and improve material availability reliability for planned purchase. Item-level PO Safety Time overrides the global value, and in multi-plant environments the applicable item/warehouse value is used when that muti-plant feature is enabled.
