Adding a Drag-From/Drop-On event

To add an event to be generated during drag-and-drop operations:

  1. Open the form for which you want to create a "drag from" or "drop on" event.
  2. Go into Design Mode and select the component for which you want to create the event.
  3. Select the Events property sheet.
  4. Click the ellipsis (•••) button for either Drag-From Events or Drop-On Events.
  5. In the Event to Add field, specify the name of the event to be generated. You can either:
    • Select the event from the drop-down list; or
    • Type the name of an event that you created or plan to create.
  6. Click Add.

    The names of all events specified for this operation display in the list field.

  7. Click OK.
