Reducing the number of rows returned in queries
You can choose to retrieve all rows or any specified maximum number of
rows in queries. This option overrides the system default limit that is set on queries that
return data records and items in drop-down lists. However, unlimited queries can degrade
system performance or exceed the resources of the application server and the client machine.
Regardless of the option you select, record retrieval is subject to any system-wide record cap overrides that might be in effect. See About caps.
