Displaying prompts during synchronization

If you elect to have prompts displayed during synchronization, FormSync displays those prompts as the synchronization process encounters customizations that cannot be handled automatically. You must then respond to each prompt before processing continues.

To display and respond to prompts during synchronization, use this process:

  1. In the FormSync main window, select Display prompts during synchronization.
  2. If you want FormSync to record the prompts and your responses to them, in the Log detail field, select Detailed.
    Note: When deciding whether to use this option, keep these thoughts in mind:
    • You can review but not replay prompts recorded in this way.
    • The Detailed setting significantly increases processing time.
  3. Set other synchronization options as desired.
If you selected Detailed in the Log detail field, after processing is complete, you can read a record of the prompts and your responses to them as progress-type messages in the log.
