Copying a report definition
- Open the Financial Report Writer form.
- Click Copy.
- In the Copy Report > Copy From > Report ID field, select the report ID of the report that must be copied.

In the Copy Report > Copy To section, specify this information:
- Report ID
- Specify a unique report ID to identify the report.
- Description
- Provide a description about the report. This description is not printed on the report.
- Task Name
- Specify the name to be used for the Task Name on the
Background Task Definition record for this
report. The default value is the Report ID and the word “Task”.
For example, if the Report ID is BalSheet then the value of Task Name will default to BalSheetTask.
- Output Format
- Select the report output format. The default value is Acrobat Format.
- To Site
- Select the site to place the copied report
definition.
The default value is the site the user is currently logged into.
- Click Copy.
