Prerequisite technology

  • SyteLine 10: Access to a SyteLine environment with proper permissions to support mid-tier development including IDO and custom assembly development. For more information about permissions and licensing, see the online help and the Licensing Administration Guide (on-premises or cloud version).
  • Visual Studio 2022: recommended to compile IDO custom assemblies
  • SyteLine Software Development Kit (SDK):
    • Contains Visual Studio solution containing definitions of .NET classes/interfaces necessary to perform local development.
    • Two variants of SyteLine’s SDK will be made available for local development as described in more detail herein. Both variants will contain definitions of SyteLine code – one aligned with current release and the other ahead of the next release to be considered beta and subject to change.
