Adding and viewing service order planned transactions

Technicians working in the field can view and create service order planned transactions. This is especially useful when the technician needs to view planned work to be performed while on-site. The technician can quickly create actual transactions and cross-check the planned work. Technicians can also estimate additional work to be done that is discovered while on-site because of new requests or problems. Technicians can add planned labor, material, and miscellaneous transactions.
  1. Open the Service Order detail form.
  2. Tap the Action menu and then tap Material, Labor, or Miscellaneous.
  3. On the corresponding transaction form, tap the Action menu and then tap Planned Transactions.
  4. Add the planned material, labor, or miscellaneous transaction.
  5. When you want to copy the planned transactions to actual transactions, perform one of these actions on the corresponding planned transaction form:
    • Tap the Action menu, then tap Copy All To Actual.
    • In iOS, swipe left on the record and tap Copy To Actual.
    • In Android, do a long press on the record and tap Copy To Actual.
