Quick start for non-Ming.le users

Follow these steps if you want to quickly set up the mobile app:

  1. If you are running SyteLine version 9.01, acquire and load the required APARs that are listed in Back office system configuration.
  2. Download Infor SyteLine Service from your device's app store.
  3. Open the app and tap Settings.
  4. In the Web Server Address field, specify the server address where the Mongoose REST API is located. In most cases, this is the utility server.
  5. Select the back office configuration to use for synchronizing data.
  6. Tap the back arrow to save the settings.
  7. If needed, set up data in the back office.
    • Ensure that there are partners linked to the SyteLine user on the Partners form.
    • Ensure that one of these is set up:
      • Appointments assigned to the partner
      • Service orders with the partner set as the lead partner
      • Incidents with the partner set as the owner
