Revenue Calculation

This field displays the method of revenue calculation that was chosen for the milestone on the Revenue Recogn tab of both the Revenue Milestones and Estimate Revenue Milestones forms. This method is used to calculate revenue when the milestone is nominated. The revenue calculation methods are:

• Manual: If you choose this method, you must manually set the revenue calculation method.
• % Over Milestone Cost: The percentage you enter in the Percentage field serves as the markup of the milestone cost. This markup is the revenue that is recognized.
• % Of Project Revenue: This method multiplies the percentage you enter in the Percentage field by the total planned revenue from the Revenue tab of the Projects form.
• Custom: The custom option is a reserved routine to be used if your company requires custom processing. It is delivered as an empty stored procedure (CustRevSp) that you can use for custom calculation routines.
