Invoice Method

This field determines how your project will be invoiced:

• Manual: You must create each invoice milestone that is required.
• Revenue Recognition: Invoice milestones are generated automatically when a revenue milestone is posted. The amount invoiced is the amount of revenue recognized.

On the Estimate Projects form, choose the invoice method only in preparation to copy your estimate project to a project. You cannot invoice an estimate project.

On the Project Parameters form, your choice is the default for the Invoice Method field on the Projects form.
