Cost Code Variance/Schedule Variance

This field displays one of these indicators for either Cost Code Variance or Schedule Variance:

  • Check mark is displayed if your project costs and schedule are all under control.
  • Caution indicator is displayed if the project is in violation of the lower deviation number set on the Evaluation tab of the Project Parameters form so that the budget and actual costs or the schedule are in danger of becoming outside of tolerance.
  • Problem indicator is displayed if the project is in violation of the upper deviation number set on the Evaluation tab of the Project Parameters form so that the budget and actual costs or the schedule are outside of tolerance.

If the check mark is displayed, it is accompanied by the words "In Control". If the caution indicator or the problem indicator is present, they are accompanied by either "Cost Code Variance" or "Schedule Variance" to identify where the problem occurs.
