Auto Nominate Invoice

On the Projects form, select the Auto Nominate Invoice field to automatically nominate invoice milestones for the current project. Nominated invoice milestones will display on the Invoice Milestone Nomination form when the following criteria is met:

• The planned date on the milestone is less than or equal to the end of the current accounting period date.
• If there are invoice milestone requirements that are tasks, all those tasks must have a status of complete.
• If there are invoice milestone requirements that are resources, all those resources must have been issued to the project.
• For invoices utilizing advance payment deductions, the total amount deducted to date cannot be more than the total invoiced amount to date. If the system attempts to auto nominate a milestone that will cause the deducted amount to exceed the invoiced amount, an error message displays.

If you clear the Auto Nominate Invoice field, you can still nominate invoice milestones on the Invoice Milestone Nomination form.

On the Estimate Projects form, select or clear the Auto Nominate Invoice field only in preparation to copy your estimate project to a project. You cannot invoice an estimate project.
