Source Button
Click this button to create a cross-referenced job order, purchase order, or requisition automatically from the information entered for the project, task, and material. A reference to Inventory means nothing is created.
The corresponding form of the originating source displays to allow you to specify a cross reference. For example, if you are producing an item as a job, the job is created when you click the button once. The cross-referenced Job Orders or Estimate Job Orders form displays when you click the button a second time.

Note: You cannot create a source cross-reference for a new record (you
must save the record first). Make sure you select or clear the
Plan on Save field
appropriately before you save the record. If you plan to customize the BOM
after cross-referencing, you must clear the
Plan on Save field before
saving the record.
