Update Job Material Unit Cost

If you change the costs on a purchase order line/blanket line that is cross-referenced to a job material, select this field before saving the changed record. This then updates the job material record's Unit Cost, Labor Cost, Material Cost, Fixed Overhead Cost, Variable Overhead Cost, and Out Cost.

The Update Job Material Unit Cost field is available when:

  • The record exists.
  • The Item Cost has changed.
  • The Ref Type is Job and the reference is not blank.
  • The job material referenced is available.
  • If the item is a non-inventory item, the Unit of Measure on the PO line is the same as the Unit of Measure on the job material record.
