Drop Ship To

To indicate where shipments are to be sent, enter the drop ship to code. Valid entries are:

• None: This code indicates that no drop ship to address is used.
• Customer: This code indicates the shipment is to be dropped off at one of the addresses of a specific customer. After you enter this code, the system prompts for the associated customer number and the ship to sequence number for the desired address.
• Drop Ship To: This code indicates a different address is to be used for dropping off shipments. It comes from the Drop Ship File. After you enter this code, the system prompts for the drop ship to number associated with the desired address.
• Warehouse: This code indicates the address to be used for the warehouse in which to fill the purchase order. This option is used in a multi-warehouse configuration.
