Add Project Material to Project Task

Select the Add Project Material to Project Task to create or update the Project Material record.

If the Project Status is not Estimate, this line's Allocated to Production value (on the Items form) will be increase by the Quantity Ordered and a Project cost record will be created.

Note: If the Quantity Ordered is zero, existing cost and cost from Cost to Complete log are removed.

The Add Project Material to Project Task field is enabled when all of the following are true:

The project has a status of Active.
The project task has a status of Active.
The reference type is Project.
The project number and task number in the reference are valid and are not blank.
The selected Item is not yet listed as a resource for this project (in the Project Resources form).

If the conditions above are met and you select the Add Project Material to Project Task field, the Cost Code field is required to create or update the Project Material record.
