Auto issuing WIP for a job in the Process Manufacturing Production Batch Workbench

For jobs that produce WIP, you can consume material for the job inside the workbench, instead of using the base SyteLine procedures.

  1. Open the Process Manufacturing Production Batch Workbench and select the Process Mfg Order (batch) number that you want.
  2. Go to the Jobs tab and select the job where you want to receive WIP.
  3. On the Utilities sub-tab, in the WIP Issuing area, select the WIP Item you want to issue to the job.
  4. Select one of these options from the drop-down field:
    • Allocate by Quantity Ordered: Allocates the WIP according to what is needed to complete the order based on the quantity ordered for that job.
    • Allocate by Quantity Produced: Allocates the WIP according to what has already been produced for that job.
  5. Optionally, select Allocate All Remaining WIP to allocate all the remaining WIP based on the criteria in Step 4, until either the WIP requirement has been met or there is no more WIP to consume from any location.
  6. Click Auto Issue WIP to issue the WIP to the job.
