Year to Date Employee Retirement Contribution

The total amount contributed by an employee toward a retirement plan so far this year is displayed.

The Max Employee Contribution limits the YTD amount contributed. The Max Employee Contribution is calculated using the % and $ values entered on the Payroll Parameters form.

Note: This field is automatically updated by the system during the posting of payroll transactions. During Payroll Year End processing, this field is reset to zero. Adjustments to this field should be made with an Adjustment transaction in the Payroll Processing function.
