Permanent Deductions/Earnings Frequencies
On the Payroll for Pay Period form, select the frequency of permanent deduction and earning codes to include in the current payroll process. Permanent deductions and earnings include union dues, loans, wage garnishes, and deduction and earning codes 1 through 15 as specified on the Employees form.
The following pay frequency codes are available:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Bi-weekly
- Semi-monthly
- Monthly
- Quarterly
When the D&E frequencies specified on the Employees form match one of the Perm D&E frequencies selected here, the Compute Payroll function copies the matching D&E codes and amounts from the Employees record.
On the Payroll Distribution form, the Permanent D&E frequency for the specified employee payroll record is displayed.
