Job Status

The system flags the position detail record as Filled when employee position records are added and from Filled to Vacant when the employee changes positions. You may only change the following:

• Discontinued to Vacant
• Vacant to Discontinued

Select one of the following job status options:

• Vacant - job is open and currently not filled
• Filled - job has been filled by a qualified candidate
• Discontinued - job no longer exists within the company
