Generate Payroll From

Specify the sources from which payroll hour amounts are to be calculated when generating payroll transactions. These are the valid types:

• Mfg Labor
• Time & Attendance
• Neither

For new employee records from Infor Global HR, this value defaults to Time & Attendance but can be changed.

To sum hours from manufacturing transactions, specify Mfg Labor.

To sum hours from Time and Attendance Data Collection, specify Time & Attendance. (After Payroll is generated, the status of the transactions in the Time and Attendance Log changes from Unposted to Posted.)

To pull hours from neither source, specify Neither. (Transactions are still pulled from the Hours file in Payroll.)
