Double-Time Rate

Specify the hourly rate paid to this employee for double-time hours. This information is used to calculate the payroll for this employee when double-time hours are worked. Entry in this field is necessary if the employee's Type is Hourly. If the employee's Type is Salary or changed to Salary, this field is automatically calculated by multiplying the Reg Rate by the Double-time Factor from the Payroll Parameters file.

Note: If an employee has a record in Human Resources, you must update their salary, OT and DT rates on the Employee Salary form and then run the Employee Salary Update utility.
