Applicant Prefix

Specify the default prefix to be used with applicant numbers.

For example, if you specify AP in the Applicant Prefix field, the default applicant numbers used at this site are AP00001, AP00002, AP00003, etc. If you do not enter a value in the Applicant Prefix field, the default applicant numbers used at this site are 1, 2, 3, etc.

Note: A prefix can consist of numeric and non-numeric (letters and symbols) characters. However, the prefix should end with an alphabetic character to ensure that the system increments applicant numbers correctly.

After a prefix is added, this prefix will not affect any existing applicant numbers.

When entering applicant numbers in the system, you may overwrite this prefix.
