Using the service application

Now that you have installed and set up the service application, you can use it.

Validation is performed every time the Sync Process background task is launched. The user listed in the Calendar Sync Users form should delegate the EWS user to perform activity on their behalf. Each SyteLineCalendar Sync user will receive an email from an EWS user on how to set up the delegate permission. The email message is sent out to each user every time the background task is restarted and repeats until the user is given delegate access or removed from the Calendar Sync Users form. An administrator can configure the content of the email message by customizing the template. See Custom calendar event templates.
