Creating a Project task

A task is created/updated in SyteLine when you perform the Sync Out process from the menu or when you click Assign SyteLine Resource.

  1. Enter a task in Microsoft Project, and then click Assign SyteLine Resource.
  2. Click Sync Out on the form without filling the Item details (Sync Out creates a material resource, if an item is selected).
    A new Task is created in SyteLine and returns the Task Num that displays on the Task Num column. The Project Resource section of this form is disabled.
