Reinstall or upgrade

To Reinstall or Upgrade to the latest Add-In:

  1. Open the Control Panel on the user's machine and uninstall the current Add-In on the user's machine.
  2. While in the Control Panel, double check to make sure there are no other and/or older versions listed.
  3. Open Task Manager and make sure all instances of Excel are closed (even look under Microsoft apps).
  4. Double-click on the install file to start installation (do not Run as Admin). When prompted to overwrite files, click Yes to All.
  5. During the install, specify to install for Everyone.
  6. Give the user permission to the C:\Program Data\Infor\CSExcelAddin folder (APAR 256712 - see KB 2088284).
    This may be a hidden folder so you will need to Unhide it from the View menu in File Explorer.
  7. The first time you launch Excel after the install, right-click and Run as Admin. Then close and reopen Excel normally.
