Creating additional databases

Optionally, you can create additional databases on a different server, with one or more sites or entities in each database. You can also create additional databases that are intended for use as “forms” or “objects” databases.

  1. Follow the steps in the Infor SyteLine Installation Guide again, starting with the step to Add Environment.
    Note: For performance reasons, your database should reside on a dedicated database server, void of any installed server roles.
  2. During the installation, set up a site in the new database.
  3. Add any additional sites through the Site Management form.
  4. If the sites are in different databases, link them as needed. See Linking databases.
