Reviewing the links between sites

When you add sites to a database through the Site Management form, the Infor Cloud team completes the configuration of the sites and the links between them. Use the Sites/Entities form to review the links.

  1. On the Sites/Entities form, ensure that each site that was linked to the current site has a record in this form.
  2. Review the list of linked sites shown in the Link Info tab.

These links are used in transactional replication between the currently selected site and other sites.

    • The local site’s record should show all the other sites that are linked to this site.

    • The records for other sites should show the link to the local site.

    • The Linked Server Name is always set to localhost.
  3. Review the INFORBUS site. This is an external, virtual site that represents Infor ION. It is used with the InforESB intranet to send and receive BODs to and from Infor ION through non-transactional replication.
