About expression summaries

Using the Edit DataView Expression Summaries form, you can create expression summaries within DataViews, based on expressions.

These expression summaries can be created in runtime, when you interact with the DataView through the Edit DataView Expression Summaries form.

The expression summaries are stored in DataView Layouts and applied when the layout is applied.

Note: The DataView reports generated as background reports through TaskMan calculate and show expression summaries for groups and overall summaries.
