Checking out global objects
When you check out a form or global object, you can make changes to the object in this application, without others overwriting your changes. When you check out an object, Form Control locks the object so that no one else can access it until you check it back in or unlock it.
Note:
- You can check out global objects only if you have Site Developer or Vendor Developer editing permissions.
- If you attempt to open the Web Designer (in a web client) or go into Design Mode (in a Windows client), and if the global object is already checked out to someone else, you cannot check it out.
