About Application Event System messages

Messages to users can be generated in the Application Event System (AES) in either of these ways:

• By the application itself, as part of the actions of an application event handler
  Note: Only Notify and Prompt action types can generate messages.
• By other users, using the Send Message form

Each message is visible only by the recipients and optionally, the sender of that message.
