About attaching external files and links to notes
You can attach to notes links to web-accessible files and web pages, or full paths of external files. Attachments can include any type of file that your work environment supports. For example, you can attach URLs or files that represent text documents, spreadsheets, graphics, and even multimedia files. In the web client, you can use the
button. In the Windows client, you can use the button. You can attach a URL or a file to a new note or an existing note. You can attach only one link or file per note.You can attach links only in the web client. In the Windows client, you can only attach files. In the Windows client, you can attach files from your local directory or from a shared network folder. In both the web client and the Windows client, you can manually add links or file directories on the Note Content field. If you manually add links or file directories on the Note Content field, then the and buttons are disabled.
To open an attached link or file, you can use the Note Content field and paste it on the address bar of the file explorer. Alternatively, click the button and on the web browser, click , then paste the link on the address bar of the file explorer.

You can open attached links in both the Windows client and the web client, but you can open attached files only in the Windows client.
