Viewing the current user record cap on collections
If the number of records displayed in a collection is not what it needs to be, then you can view the current user-level cap in the User Preferences, to find out what it is set to.
Caps are designed to maintain the performance of your local system and of the database
server. Because data retrieved from the server resides on your local system in a
collection, retrieval of a large number of records or list items can put unnecessary
demands on the database server and slow system performance.
Note: For customers operating in a multi-tenant cloud
farm, the farm's system administrator can set a record cap that applies to the entire
farm. System administrators for on-premises installations can also set system-wide
record caps. For more information, see About caps.
