Importing BOD templates

So that you do not have to create your own Business Object Documents (BODs) from scratch, we make available an extensive set of BOD templates that you can import and use with your application.

These templates are available in several versions, each designed to work with a specific set of products and/or versions of products. You can download the set of templates you need from the Mongoose portal. When defining a replication document for a BOD which is consumed from or by another system, select the BOD templates version used by that product. If in doubt, take the latest available version.

If you have not already done so, obtain the set of BOD templates that you require for your application:
1. Log into the Mongoose Portal (mongoose.infor.com/portal) and select the Learn tab.
2. Expand the Xtras and Add-ons submenu, and then expand the BOD Templates option.
3. From the list of BOD Templates collections, select the version you need for your application.
4. In the right pane, click Download/View Selected.
The BOD template .zip file for the selected version is downloaded and placed into your Downloads folder.
In your application, open the BOD Template Import Wizard.
Click Browse and navigate to the Downloads folder.
Select and open the BOD Templates .zip file you downloaded.
Select the desired Versions To Import and the BOD Templates To Import.
If you don't want to import all the available BOD templates, choose Selected, and then Ctrl-click to select only the ones you want.
Click Import.
When the wizard notifies you that the import was successful, click OK.

Optionally, to verify the import action, we recommend that you open the Maintain BOD Templates form, execute Filter In Place, and verify that the template is in the list of available BOD templates.
